@janefonda , forever a babe, just like you❣️happy valentine’s day. 😘
roots. stems. gams. legs. ⠀

what do you call yours? // what’s for dinner tonight?! 🥕
recipe testing. always testing new things to better train you! 🖤
this morning @_mamannyc_ #mugshot
functional (and fit!) glutes make a perfect pair. 🍐 right and left glutes work together as the largest muscles in your body and each are made of three muscles (maximus, medius, and minimis!). the more conscious you are of YOUR pair, the perkier they’ll be! 😁🍐
did someone say souper bowl? 🍲 .
sundays are actually my favorite day to make a big batch of soup to enjoy throughout the week. my go-to is usually something brothy with lots of veggies and fish that I adapt from like this one from @foodandwine. 🥕🍠🐠🥬🌶

*peeling* outta here soon, but first breakfast 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊
.
my go to bikini-friendly breakfast: eggs (any style!), a bit of (seasonal!) fruit and water with mixed citrus! 🍋🍊
frigid days can put a freeze on your fitness goals🥶. find a trainer 🙋🏼‍♀️ (or f(ur)iend 🐶) who will hold you accountable. a quality accountability coach is:⠀
- honest ⠀
- committed⠀
- sharing similar values ⠀
- available when you are available ⠀
- genuinely interested in helping you succeed ⠀
.⠀
what characteristics do you look for in your accountability partner(s)?⠀
.⠀
for me, it’s all of the above plus *bonus points* if they’ll ‘remove’ poor food decisions out of reach (or hand or mouth) like this little accountability shadow 🐶🤣 #80/20 #SnackSnatcher #FoodSharer
table for 2, sil vous plaît!⠀
.⠀
self-sabotaging solo? eating with others is an easy way to ensure you stay on track.⠀

community and connection with others is key! actually one of the most well-known benefits of enjoying a meal with others is the effect on heart rate variability (HRV) and the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS). high HRV activates the PNS, which is also known as the “rest and digest” branch of the nervous system. positive states of mind like love, gratitude, and connection induce the relaxation response, which increases HRV and activates your PNS. as the PNS is activated, digestive function improves. proper digestion not only improves absorption of nutrients, but also prevents symptoms of indigestion like heartburn, flatulence, and bloating.⠀
.⠀
so who wants to go on a date this week?! creature of habit i am, i guarantee I’ll propose @clovernewyork 😂. wherever you go, and whoever you go with, bon appetit!
